A judge is saying “No” to Jamie Snow.
The Bloomington man is spending life behind bars following his conviction for the murder of a gas station clerk. Billy Little was killed in 1991. The 4th District Appellate Court has ruled Snow cannot file a petition that claims new evidence will prove witnesses lied at his trial.
Snow is being represented by The Exoneration Project at the University of Chicago Law School. The appellate court said there was not enough evidence a witness perjured himself.
Snow’s legal team is still trying to have DNA items tested on several items of evidence.
