The St. Louis Cardinals hope to bring Matt Holliday back into the lineup soon as they continue their three-game series against the Milwaukee Brewers at Miller Park.
Holliday was taken off the disabled list on Tuesday after missing 41 games with a right quad strain. He’s expected to make some pinch-hit appearances before returning to the lineup.
Jamie Garcia will pitch for the Cardinals against Brewers’ righthander Wily Peralta in tonight’s scheduled 7:10 p.m. start.
